it's been kind of hard finding the inspiration to write lately, despite wanting so desperately to do so. we've also had pretty bad art block for the past handful of months; as a creative, this lack of motivation has been particularly painful.
archival of the web is important. lately, we've been hyperfixated on alterhuman history, and without everybodys valiant efforts in archiving anything & everything they get their paws on, we wouldn't be able to put fuel into the fire that is our autism. we can read so many personal essays by dragons, blogposts by canines, and endless discussions between any & all creatures your mind can conjure. we wonder if they thought what they were doing was important. we wonder if they knew it would be important.
our only ideas for blogposts lately have been ramblings on our alterhuman identities; noemata, shit like that. however, we didn't really think that those ideas were... substantial enough, on their own. they were too boring. nobody wants to read that stuff.
except us. we're literally the guy that wants to read that stuff.
for whatever reason, we are not a perfectionist anywhere in life except for our art. this includes writing, of course, which bleeds into our silly little blog we promised ourselves we wouldn't be as critical of. as a result, we've managed to convince ourselves that nobody would really want to divulge into the details of our alterhuman experiences, due to them not being entirely spectacular. and yet, one of our hobbies is perusing the world wide web for just that; and we know we're not the only one.
so, why the fuck not? the creatures of the past might've not known how important their little ramblings online were, but hey, maybe someone will find kinship in mine the way i did theirs. writing more, even if it's dogshit, still adds rather than subtracts. so maybe we should stop being so self-critical & just write!!!
